Chinese central government approved the China long term wireless
evolution strategy on December 26th, 2007 to follow the
development steps of: TD-SCDMA to TD-OFDMA to TD-OWA. This
so-called China TDD-LTE (long term evolution) plan will account
for over $50B investment and funds by the government. China has
been a very open country in mobile communications since 1998,

In Samsung's
futureUNLIMITED Executive Summit, San Jose, 15th November 2006,
Mr. George M. Scalise, President of U.S. Semiconductor Industry
